Operating costs, including Wish Ambulance maintenance; insurance; medical equipment servicing and consumables; uniforms; secure vehicle storage and fuel costs, require constant fundraising. Ambulance Wish Western Australia receives no Government funding and is totally dependent upon donations from individuals and businesses to enable us to fulfil final wishes. Donations, including Gifts of Support enables Ambulance Wish Western Australia to continue providing a final wish service for terminally ill West Australians.

Gift values:  

$ 15 can pay for the stretcher linen for a single final wish;

$ 50 can pay for the monthly mobile phone and data charges for our wish ambulance communications;

$ 75 can supply a 'Peppi the Numbat' and memory book for a Wish Recipient;

$ 150 can fill a Wish Ambulance's fuel tank (at least it can this week);

$ 230 can pay the monthly oxygen cylinder rental charges;

$ 500 can pay for two tyres for a Wish Ambulance;

$ 1,000 contributes to the servicing costs of a Wish Ambulance;

$ 1,700 can pay the monthly rent for the Wish Ambulance storage unit - which is becoming the headquarters of Ambulance Wish Western Australia and will allow us to train our volunteers in a designated space.

All donations are used by the charity to fulfil wishes. There are no employee salaries to pay, director remunerations or marketing company fees - the single mission of the charity is to fulfil as many final wishes as possible and ALL donations are utilised to achieve this aim.
